Executive Development Strategies     



Arthur Medici is Managing Partner and leads the Executive Development Strategies practice area. Previously he was the founding investor in Internet Commerce Corporation (ICC) while CEO of Infosafe Systems. He has served ICC as CEO, COO and was a member of the Board of Directors in its current form as EasyLink Services International until January 2008. He completed an assignment as acting CEO for a Herndon, Virginia government contractor in June 2009.


Art was also President, CEO and Director of Logilent Learning Systems, a venture-backed California company with unique hands-on training labs for Microsoft and Cisco engineers on a certification track. After accomplishing a “right-sizing” and refocusing, he orchestrated Logilent’s exit into a combination with Toolwire, Inc., another VC-backed firm. Prior to Logilent, Art was acting President and CEO of SmartSoft, an angel-backed start-up with a focus on educational software for skill assessment and aptitude development for non-traditional learners.

Previously, he served as senior vice president of Marketing for Cable & Wireless North America. His responsibility included the overall strategy, management and direction of product development and marketing, communications, public and investor relations, and business development. He also spent six years at two operating companies of The Thomson Corporation (TTC) – Thomson & Thomson and Derwent North America – where he spear-headed market expansion of TTC’s intellectual property information businesses as Senior Vice President and President, respectively.


He began his career at IBM, where he spent twelve years in various sales and marketing management positions with increasing responsibility in New York and New Jersey field offices, and a focus on marketing to the communications industry.


Art earned a Bachelors degree from Hobart College, and a Masters Degree fro  Columbia University Business School as well as a certificate in International Management from INSEAD. He is active in community affairs and is a former Trustee of Hobart and William Smith Colleges as well as Past-President of the Hobart College Alumni Association where he was cited for his outstanding contributions as an alumnus. Art is on the Advisory Boards of the American Small Business Coalition (ASBC), NavtechGPS, Ex Nihilo Management, and is Chairman of CEO Junction.
